Introduction

It’s not often that we review something completely different to the norm, but the new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-QX10 definitely fits that description. The Sony QX10 is officially called a «lens-sensor module», and it’s designed to be the perfect partner for your smartphone, rather than a standalone device. Essentially, the QX10 comprises an image sensor and a lens, but doesn’t have a screen, instead relying on being paired to your smartphone via a wi-fi connection to compose and review images and change settings via Sony’s PlayMemories Mobile app. Sony are hoping that frustrated smartphone owners will be tempted by the QX10’s 10x zoom lens with Optical SteadyShot stabilisation and 18.2 megapixel image sensor, which are longer and bigger respectively than most smartphones offer, and by the compact size. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-QX10 retails for around £179 / £250 and is available in white or black.

A digital camera or digicam is a camera that captures photographs in digital memory. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-QX30 is an ultrazoom, mobile device-mountable, lens-type compact camera manufactured by Sony. Announced on September 3, 2014, the QX30 is one of Sony’s «Smart Lens» cameras, alongside the QX1, QX10 and QX100, that are designed to be specifically used with a smartphone. It has a 1/2.3 inch backside-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor with 20.4 effective megapixels, sitting behind an ƒ/3.5 (wide) to ƒ/6.3 (telephoto) Sony G Lens. Its highlight feature is its 30x lossless optical zoom.

Like the other Sony Smart Lens cameras, it is Wi-Fi-controlled using an Android or iOS device though the downloadable PlayMemories Mobile application, utilizing the device’s screen as its viewfinder and camera controls, while also serving as additional storage medium via its integrated wireless file transfer feature.

Я тут уже писал про DSC-QX10 и DSC-QX100, но на тот момент об изделиях было известно не столь много, как сейчас.

Аппараты DSC-QX10 и DSC-QX100 стоит именовать камерами типа «объектив» (Lens-Style Cameras), они предназначены для смартфонов управляемых Android и iOS, что даёт возможность превратить обычные умные телефоны в мощные камерофоны, способные создавать отличные фото. Соединение новинок со смартфонами осуществляется по WiFi.

DSC-QX100 имеет 20.2МП сенсор Exmor R, известный по зеркальной камере RX100 II. Его особенностью является возможность создания приличных фото при низкой освещённости. У модуля есть только 3.6-кратный оптический зум, плюс процессор обработки изображения BIONZ. Также, изделие Sony обладает возможностью для ручной фокусировки. Используемый объектив — Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T*.

Братец новинки, модуль QX10 создан для тех, кому важна съёмка с зумом, тут он 10-кратный оптический. Сенсор в изделии используется 18.2МП Exmor R. Используемый объектив — Sony G, его размеры составляют 2.5×2.5×1.3″, вес равен 4 унциям. В изделии применяется процессор обработки изображения Optical SteadyShot, позволяющий снимать приличное видео без размытости изображения даже дрожащими руками. Доступные цвета — чёрный и белый.

 Полезные, но слишком уж дорогие устройства DSC-QX10 и DSC-QX100 от Sony

За камеру DSC-QX100 просят 500 долларов США, а модель DSC-QX10 несколько доступнее — $250. Ближе к концу месяца оба этих продукта Sony поступят в продажу.
