It was announced at the 2009 consumer electronics exhibition. This model in the Lumix range was claimed by Panasonic as the world’s smallest and lightest system digital camera with a built-in flash capability.

Although the GF1 is small it still offers many advanced features such as its high definition video recording capability. It offers most of the features of the larger G1, including high speed contrast detect autofocus and an identical sensor.

It has the same 12.1 megapixel sensor as the DMC-G1, 1280 × 720 HD recording in AVCHD Lite format, an optional hot-shoe mounted electronic viewfinder, and a 3-inch LCD with 460,000 dots. It was announced at the 2009 Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin consumer electronics exhibition. This model in the Lumix range was claimed by Panasonic as the world’s smallest and lightest system digital camera with a built-in flash capability.

Although the GF1 is small it still offers many advanced features such as its high definition video recording capability. It offers most of the features of the larger G1, including high speed contrast detect autofocus and an identical sensor.

Compatible products which do not comply with Four-thirds standard

Direction detection related functions on DMC-GF1(ex. a function to rotate and play back pictures vertically when they are shot with the camera held vertically) are not available.

Introduction

The new Panasonic DMC-GF1 is the latest Micro Four Thirds camera, following in the footsteps of the electronic giant’s G1 and GH1 models. Unlike those two cameras, which have a distinct DSLR look and feel, the Panasonic GF1 is smaller and lighter, thanks largely to the absence of a built-in viewfinder and hand-grip. Weighing a mere 285g and 35% smaller than the G1, this is currently the world’s smallest and lightest interchangeable lens camera with a built-in flash, which is also one of the key differences to the GF1’s most obvious rival, the Olympus Pen E-P1. The diminutive Panasonic GF1 also offers a 12.1-megapixel Live MOS sensor, high-resolution 3-inch LCD screen, Venus Engine HD image processor and in-built Dust Reduction system. If you don’t want to use the LCD screen for composition, an optional electronic external viewfinder is also available (£165 / $200), which slots into the external flash hotshoe on top of the camera. The GF1 can record 1280 x 720 high-definition video in the AVCHD Lite or Motion JPEG formats, and it can focus in just 0.3 seconds via its contrast auto-focusing system. The Panasonic GF1 is available in four colours, black, red, silver and white, either body only (£570) or in two different kits, one with the new LUMIX G 20mm/F1.7 ASPH pancake lens (£800 / $900), and the other with the existing 14-45mm/F3.5-5.6 ASPH/MEGA O.I.S. zoom lens (£720 / $900).

Проверка уровня и состояния масла коробки осуществляется следующим образом:

• автомобиль ставится на ровную поверхность, желательно – на эстакаду или смотровую яму;
• в заливную горловину коробки, при заглушенном моторе, заливается 0.7 литра жидкости;
• двигатель заводится и удерживается на холостом ходу. Следует дождаться прогрева ATF коробки до примерно 55 градусов, желательно использовать автосканер для контроля;
• после этого селектор коробки дважды переводится из P в D и обратно, окончательно фиксируясь в P;
• выкручивается пробка контрольного отверстия коробки (на боковой крышке поддона АКПП);
• если жидкость льется из коробки медленной струей, ее достаточно. Поток сильный – перелив, а когда масло из коробки не вытекает, значит, его недостаточно. При переливе избыток следует слить, при недостатке – добавить, проведя затем повторный тест уровня. По вытекшему маслу можно визуально оценить его качество и необходимость полной/частичной замены: темная, с посторонними вкраплениями жидкость однозначно указывает на срочную смену масла коробки.

Для оценки шумности использовался следующий метод: фотографировалась группа разноцветных объектов со значениями чувствительности от 100 до 3200 с шагом 1 EV (возможно изменение с шагом 1/3 EV). Съемка велась в формате RAW с активированным шумоподавлением и без него. При создании кроп-фрагментов RAW-файлы предварительно конвертировались комплектным ПО в JPEG с минимальным сжатием, нарезка фрагментов осуществлялась в программе Photoshop CS3, с последующим сохранением в формате JPEG с минимальным коэффициентом сжатия. На снимке, приведенном ниже, зелеными квадратами обозначены области кроп-фрагментов. В качестве оппонента была взята камера Olympus PEN E-P2. Так как в данной камере доступны три варианта шумоподавления, для возможности сравнения с героем материала кроме съемки без шумоподавления был выбран вариант шумоподавления «стандарт».

Также вне зачета с чувствительностью от 100 до 6400 единиц была сфотографирована тестовая таблица Munsell ColorChecker. Съемка производилась в формате JPEG с активированным шумоподавлением. На снимке, приведенном ниже, зелеными квадратами обозначены области кроп-фрагментов.

В отличие от камер серии Olympus PEN, герой материала оборудован выбрасываемой вспышкой, и пусть ведущее число вспышки совсем невелико — 6, но зато она есть и позволяет снимать в полной темноте, чего камеры Olympus без внешних аксессуаров не могут. Вспышка работает в следующих режимах: заполняющая, авто и медленная синхронизация. Во всех режимах, кроме заполняющего, возможно активирование функции подавления эффекта «красных глаз». Заявленный диапазон действия вспышки приведен для различных значений чувствительности:

• AUTO — от 40 см до 7,0 м;
• ISO 100 — от 40 см до 3,5 м;
• ISO 200 — от 50 см до 4,9 м;
• ISO 400 — от 80 см до 7,0 м;
• ISO 800 — от 1,1 м до 9,9 м;
• ISO 1600 — от 1,6 м до 14,1 м;
• ISO 3200 — от 2,3 м до 19,9 м.

Предусмотрена возможность настройки вспышки от -2 до +2 EV с шагом в треть ступени. Ниже приведены миниатюры-ссылки на полноформатные файлы, отснятые со значениями компенсации от -2 до +2 с шагом в 1 ступень.

Как показывают тестовые снимки, беззеркальная камера Lumix GF7 отлично справляется с шумами – даже на ISO 6400 шумы малозаметны, не искажают изображение, в основном начинают проявляться в тенях. Только на максимальном уровне светочувствительности на фотоизображении уже начинают проявляться разрушающие изображение артефакты. Надо отдать должное системе внутрикамерного шумоподавления, она работает на отлично. Так что Lumix GF7 даже с китовым объективом может качественно снимать в условиях слабого освещения.

Кроме объектива Lumix G Vario 12 — 32 мм f/3.5-5.6 у нас на тестировании побывал макрообъектив Panasonic LUMIX G Macro 30 mm F2.8. Объектив оказался очень интересным, позволяет делать фотографии с очень близкого расстояния от объекта, заинтересует всех, кто любит снимать микромир, а также, за счет фокусного расстояния (60 мм с учетом кроп-фактора) и светосилы, отлично подходит для съемки портретов.

Выводы. Итак, новая системная камера Panasonic DMC-GF7 получилась удачной. Из несомненных достоинств – как всегда быстрый и точный автофокус, модуль беспроводной связи, отличное ПО, которое аккуратно борется с шумом и позволяет получать хорошие фотографии на высоких ISO, поворотный на 180 градусов дисплей, мечта любителей селфи. К недостаткам можно отнести слабое время автономной работы.

А теперь самое интересное, цена — на момент написания статьи Panasonic DMC-GF7 Kit стоит 39900 руб., а топовая камера Panasonic DMC-GX7 Kit, оснащенная видоискателем, оптическим стабилизатором, более емким аккумулятором, горячим башмаком, разъемом для пульта ДУ и другими вкусностями стоит … 39900 руб.
